How many gallons
per minute (GPM) does the trailer require?
Your pump requirements are 11-20 GPM at approximately 900-1200 RPM.
At what pressure?
We set out bypass at 2500 PSI.
What percentage of engine speed should my
PTO be?
We recommend 118 - 125% to enable unloading at idle.
If I need my PTO to be higher volume to
use with other trailers in addition to my Trinity
Trailer Eagle Bridge, what should I do?
You can put a priority flow divider on your trailer
to divert the excess flow back to your tank. They
are available through our parts department and are
preset at 15 GPM.
How often should I change the oil in my
planetary gearbox?
The oil should be changed after the first 50 hours
of operation and then every 1000 hours after that
or yearly, whichever comes first.
What kind of oil should I put in my planetary
gearbox?
When the gearbox is under the normal temperature
range of 0-120° F it should be half full of SAE
80/90.
When my ABS light goes on does that mean
I don't have any brakes?
No, the ABS on the affected wheel(s) is disabled. That
wheel still has normal brakes. The other wheels
keep the ABS function. Refer to your ABS maintenance
manual for
more information on retrieving and repairing ABS
faults.
Can I reverse my hydraulic lines and run
my conveyor backwards?
No, operating your conveyor system in reverse will
cause major damage to your front shaft, bearings,
adjusting rods and possibly the floor of your trailer.
My conveyor chain makes a clunking noise
when unloading. What should I do?
When the chain has not been lubricated, it will make
a clunking noise as the chain rotates around the
shaft. Refer to your owner's manual for chain
oiling requirements.
What kind of hydraulic oil should I use?
ISO 32 or equivalent.
Our power source is a long distance from
where we are unloading. Can I just run a
really long extension cord?
Too long of an extension cord can damage or ruin
the electric motor. Refer to your owner's manual
for the appropriate extension length for your application.
