Liners play an important role in a fast and clean unloading process.  Your Trinity Sales representative will help you select the proper liner for your application.

Trinity uses a ¼ “ UHMW floor liner to protect the floor of the trailer and decrease the coefficient of friction for the running of the chain and flap unloading system.  This floor liner is welded to an HMW sideliner.

The standard side liner is “low” HMW (approximately 48” or roughly to the top of the slopes).

“Medium” liner (approximately 60”) and “High” liner (approximately 72”) are available in both UHMW and HMW in various thicknesses depending on the product’s abrasiveness and consistency.

Spud trailers (25” belt) come standard with no side liner. All liner sizes are available as options

UHMW and HMW plastic is slick and offers less resistance when unloading almost any product.  These plastics make light weight liners that have also proven to offer protection to the trailer body.  Liners are a wear item that can easily and economically be replaced when necessary.  On spud trailers, such liners are considered useful as part of an insulation package in cold weather climates.  UHMW allows longer life as a floor liner and cushions the chain assembly. Welding the floor liner to the side liner helps retain the sticky wet feed and fertilizer products and keeps corrosive products from constant contact with the trailer body which contributes to longer trailer life.

Liners and flap materials are wear materials. The actual life of the liners and flaps depend on the product being hauled.
