Trailer Body

Eagle Bridge Trailers are manufactured in three basic 16 ga. steel combinations.  These are carbon steel, stainless steel, and a combination of the two. Carbon steel trailers are much more flexible and rugged than aluminum trailers and are designed to be used in most applications. Stainless steel trailers were designed to be used in applications that involve wet corrosive payloads or where road conditions include damaging chemicals or excessive rock chipping. 10 ga floors and slopes are an option to reinforce trailer bodies that are used in severe applications.

Option A                   
Carbon Steel Construction- Price equivalent to Aluminum Construction
The entire trailer is protected by the Trinity paint process.  This specifically designed process includes a top coat which is a high build aliphatic (organic) polyurethane coating that is tough, flexible and chemical/stain resistant.  The primer is epoxy based for corrosion resistance (similar to the process used on offshore refineries and ship hulls).

Option B
Level 1 Stainless Steel Construction
The entire trailer is protected by the Trinity Paint process. All body sheets, rear door sheet and inside top rail are stainless steel.  The side frames, ribs, strips, suspension, king pin, rear door frame, landing legs/ braces and suspensions pans are carbon steel.

Option C
Level 2 Stainless Steel Construction - “unpainted”
The side frames, ribs, strips, all body sheets, rear door sheet and both top rails are stainless steel and left unpainted. The king pin, suspension, rear door frame, landing legs,/braces, suspension pans and rib channels over suspension are carbon steel and protected by the Trinity Paint process.

Trinity engineers use Finite Element Analysis software to analyze the deformation of rugged 16 ga. steel trailer assemblies and 3D modeling to design exact fit and evaluate tolerance to assure quality.
